Yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda, kedi ve köpekler, coronavirüs’ten (covid-19) etkilenmeyen canlılardır. Illinois Üniversitesi Veterinerlik Fakültesi Başkanı Dr. Will Sander ise geçtiğimiz günlerde verdiği röportajda kedi ve köpeklerin risk grubunda olmadığının altını çizdi.
Kedi ve köpek dostlarımızda coronavirüs’ün gösterdiği reaksiyonlar, insanlardakinden oldukça farklıdır. Kediler ve köpeklerde genellikle mide rahatsızlıkları olarak belirtiler gösteren coronavirüs, insanlara etki eden coronavirüs türünden (covid-19) oldukça farklıdır ve ırklar arası bir geçiş söz konusu değildir.
