Özellikle de köpeklerin bakımını hep birlikte üstlenecek olan çocukların, sorumluluk duygusunun pekiştirileceği düşünülmekte. Projenin ilk gerçekleştirildiği okul ise Bahçeşehir Koleji oldu. Bu okulun yaz döneminde de eğitim vermesi sayesinde, köpeğin her dönem çocuklar ile olabilmesi sağlanıyor. Ayrıca okula verilen bu köpeğin, bir barınaktan seçilmiş bir köpek olması da köpeğin daha sağlıklı bir şekilde büyüyebilmesine yardımcı olmakta.

Bizler de bu projeye baktığımızda, en kısa zamanda Trabzon haricinde pek çok şehirde de yayılması gerektiğini düşünenlerdeniz. Özellikle de çocukların ders aralarında besleyip sevebilecekleri bir köpeğe sahip olmaları sayesinde, okula daha büyük bir ilgi ile gideceklerini düşünüyoruz. Bu anlamda, diğer şehirlerde yer alan hayvan hakları koruyucularına büyük bir görev düşmekte. Dileriz ki en kısa zamanda ülkemizin dört bir yanında kullanılan bir proje olarak devam eder. Son dönemlerde artmış olan hayvan sevgisizliğinin, küçük yaşlarda aşılanması sayesinde, çocukların daha merhametli ve sorumluluk duygusuyla büyümeleri amaçlanıyor. Trabzon Hayvan Hakları Koruma Derneği Başkanı olan Lütfiye Tüzün Kurban ise bu konudaki düşüncelerini şu şekilde açıklıyor: ‘’Bu durumun önüne geçilmesi için bilinçlendirme çalışmaları önemli. Hayvan sevgisinin küçük yaşlarda öğrenilmesi gerekiyor. Projeyle barınaktan aldığımız sakin, uyumlu ve çocuklarla anlaşabilen köpeklerimizi okullara teslim ediyoruz. Hayvanlara yuva bulmayı ve çocuklara küçük yaşta hayvan sevgisini aşılamayı amaçlıyoruz. Çocuk kendinden farklı bir canlı ile iletişime geçtiği zaman, ilerdeki dönemlerde kendisinden farklı insanlarla daha iyi iletişim kurabiliyorlar.’’
