Patival, bizlerin yani insanların can dostları olan hayvanlardan, kediler ve köpeklerin varlığının bizler için ne denli önemli olduğunun farkındalığını yaratmak amacıyla “Doğa, Çocuk ve Can Dostları” temasıyla 28 Eylül’de güzel İzmir’in en güzel yerlerinden Gündoğdu Meydanı’nda gerçekleşti. “Patival – Can Dostlarımızla Buluşuyoruz” festivali, 40 sivil toplum kuruluşu, Konak Belediyesi, yüzlerce hayvansever ve PetSurfer ekibimizin katılımları ile oldukça ses getirmiştir.
Türkiye’nin tek yerli mama markası olan Lider Pet Food tarafından, İzmir’in dört bir yanından hayvan dostlarımızın bir araya getirildiği, Şophengazi Deprem Bakım Evi ve Konak Belediyesi Veteriner İşleri’ndeki ihtiyaç sahibi can dostlarımız için 3 ton mama bağışı yapılmıştır.
Patival, içerisinde pek çok etkinlik ve mesaj barındıran bir festival olması ile hayvanlar ve doğa temalı festivallere örnek olarak, daha fazla ve daha nitelikli festivaller yapılmasına önayak olmuştur. Bu sayede öncü olup can dostlarımız olan hayvanları tema olarak alan pek çok festivale de örnektir.
40 sivil toplum kuruluşunun da katılımıyla gerçekleşen Patival, bu sivil toplum kuruluşların etkisiyle de oldukça ses getirmiştir. Patival, hayvan hakları ve sokak hayvanlarının yanı sıra doğa ile ilgili de mesajlar vermiştir.
Dünya sadece insanların değil üzerinde yaşayan her canlının ortak malıdır. Bir insanın değeri bir kedi veya köpeğinkiyle kıyaslanamayacağı gibi bir ağaç ile de kıyaslanamaz. Bir insanın yaşaması için doğal düzenin sağlanması gerekmektedir. Bu düzen ise insanlar ve hayvanlar kadar ağaçları da içinde barındırır. Son dönemlerde ülkemizde ve Dünya’da artan orman yangınları ile ilgili de mesajlar barındıran ve temasındaki “Doğa” kelimesi ile belirten Patival, her bakımdan mükemmel içeriğe sahip bir festivaldir.
Dolu dolu festival
Patival Konak, içerisindeki dolu etkinliklerle oldukça ses getirmiştir. 2015 O Ses Türkiye birinci Elnur Hüseynov’un konserinin yanı sıra düzenlenen dans ve K9 gösterilerine ek olarak can dostlarımız için farklı kategorilerde güzellik ve yeteneklerini sergiledikleri bir de yarışma yapıldı. Yarışmaya katılan 18 köpek dostumuzun arasından, “En Şık Can Dostu”, “En Yetenekli Can Dostu” ve “Sahibine En Çok Benzeyen Can Dostu” gibi köpek dostlarımız belirlendi. Yarışmalarda ilk 3’e giren köpek dostlarımıza mama, sahiplerine ise kupa takdim edildi.
PetSurfer’da oradaydı
“Sana özgürlük, petine mutluluk” mottosuyla öne çıkan PetSurfer, hayvan dostlarımızla ilgili olan tüm etkinliklerde olduğu gibi Patival Konak’ta da yerini aldı. Minik dostlarınıza güvenilir bakıcılar bulan PetSurfer, aynı zamanda minik dostlara bakıcılık yapma fırsatını da kullanıcılarına sunuyor.
Evcil hayvan sahipleri, en yakın dostları olan petlerini, yokluklarında onlara aynı ilgi ve sevgiyi gösterecek güvenilir kimselere emanet etmek istemekteler. Bu nedenle PetSurfer hizmetlerini alarak, hem evcil hayvanların alışık olduğu, kurulu düzenlerinin bulunduğu, kendi evlerinde hem de bakıcı olan Host evlerinde de mevcut olan seçenekleriyle evcil hayvan sahiplerinin hayatlarını kolaylaştırıyor.
Evcil hayvan sahiplerinin hayatlarını kolaylaştıran PetSurfer, aynı zamanda hayvanseverlere, geçici bir süre bakıcılık yaparak gelir kaynağı yaratmalarına olanak sağlıyor.

Sivil toplum kuruluşlarından büyük destek
Konak Belediyesi’nin yanı sıra 40 sivil toplum kuruluşunun da katılımlarıyla gerçekleşen Patival, gördüğü büyük ilgiyle epey ses getirmiştir. Festivale katılarak destek veren sivil toplum kuruluşlarının arasında, Greenpeace, TEMA Vakfı, İZÇEV, Ege Orman Vakfı ve AKUT gibi çevreci örgütlerin yanı sıra Anadolu Otizm Derneği, Çağdaş Yaşam Derneği, Türk Eğitim Gönüllüleri gibi pek çok sivil toplum kuruluşu katılmıştır.
Konak Belediye Başkanı Abdül Batur, Patival Konak’a destek veren kuruluşların stantlarını tek tek uğrayarak, katılım sağlayan tüm kuruluşlar adına TEMA ve Ege Orman Vakfı’na birer fidan bağışlayarak, teşekkür belgelerini teslim etti.
